Payments and Policies
Carefully read all policies listed below. With the booking fee and contract signature, both parties agree to all stated polices and fees listed on this page.

Deposit/ Payment
To secure a date, a signed contract is required with a 50% deposit of the total amount due at the time of signing. The deposit is Non-Refundable. Both the contract and deposit must be received before placing a hold on the requested day. To ensure each bride receives my full attention, I only book one wedding a day. Because of this, there is a minimum booking amount of $800; all service totals need to meet this minimum for on-site location travel. If you are the only one needing services, you are absolutely welcome to book; in that case, the minimum still applies- for example, Bridal hair ($225) +2 bridal party ($250) totals $475, so the remaining balance would still be required to meet the $800 booking minimum. If the minimum cannot be met, a $100 fee will be applied.

All payments are due a week before the wedding date. Cash, Check, Credit, and Zelle are all accepted. Payment can be made in person or over the phone with Jocelyn.
Checks can be made payable to Jocelyn Lee Beauty, or payments made by Zelle to 818.648.7311.

All payments and services are Non-Refundable
If it is requested for the artist to stay to complete additional services, such as touch-ups and/ or hairstyle changes, it will be $50/ per hour after the time to be ready. If an assistant is needed for larger parties (7+) $250 is added to the total.

Miscellaneous
Time is of the essence. All who are receiving services need to come with clean, dry hair. When choosing a hairstyle, keep in mind that Mammoth Lakes experiences unpredictable weather conditions. Braids are lovely but not always practical. If a braid is requested, hair extensions are required to complete the look. A photo of each person’s hair and inspo is required 4 weeks before the wedding to ensure the style can be done.

The artist cannot guarantee or be held accountable for any allergic reactions or complications from the products or the application. Artist is not liable to Client or any other third party for consequential, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, arising out of, relating to, or in connective with any breach of this Agreement, regardless of (a) whether such damages were foreseeable, (b) whether or not Client was advised of such damages, (c) the legal or equitable theory (contract, tort, or otherwise) upon which the claim is based. It is the client’s responsibility to secure insurance to protect themselves from unforeseen events or circumstances beyond the party’s control. Clients agree to relieve and hold Artist harmless for all such circumstances. Any photos taken by the Artist and wedding photographer on the day of the wedding can be used for their own promotional use on the website and/ or social media.

Force Majeure Clause
For this agreement, “force majeure” shall mean any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the affected party that prevents or significantly impedes performance of its obligations under this agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, events caused by acts of god, including, without limitation, severe weather conditions such as snowstorms, floods, earthquakes, fire, road closure, and other natural disasters. If in the event, a party is unable to perform its obligations under this agreement due to a force majeure event, that party shall provide written notice to the other party as soon as practicable. The obligations of the affected party shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, provided that the affected party uses reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects of the event and to resume performance as soon as reasonably possible. The time for performance shall be extended by the period during which the affected party is unable to perform due to the force majeure.
